The group De-Regulators (Ypatia Vourloumi, Marios Chatziprokopiou, Panis Kompatsiaris, Mairi Zygouri) organizes a role-based performance in the theatre Empros under occupation, a space that hosted a series of theatre, music, visual arts and dance groups. The occupation was a short-lived experiment of autogestion. The group will stage a kind of Brechtian Lehrstücke, a collective action where the audience is to be divided in camps and play specific roles distributed by lots: the technocrats, the indignant, the speculators, the public servants. Upon the start of the acting out, any element of violence and conflict will fade out, while the participants will fail to stand tall in seriously delivering their role.

Hypatia Vourloumis received her Ph.D. in Performance Studies at NYU and is currently a research fellow at Freie University in Berlin. Her teaching and research interests focus broadly on postcolonial studies, minority discourse, Modern Greek and SE Asian cultural production and performances of race, sexuality and gender. She is currently working on immigrant cultural production and performance in Greece.

He published theoretical texts in Greece, France and Brazil, and poems in the review Enteuktirion. He made two short documentary films (one of them in co-production with Aristoteles Workshop/ARTE).
